Gaya College, Gaya is a premier institution of Higher Education in Bihar. The College was established in 1944. With the inception of Magadh University at Bodh-Gaya, the College became a constituent unit of the University in 1962. The College is spread over 57 acres of land situated on the main Gaya-Dobhi/Sherghati road at the heart of the town.The College is located at a distance of about 3 Kms from Gaya Railway Station,7 Kms.from the airport and 12 Kms from the University headquarters. The College imparts education from Intermediate to Post-graduate level in 20 subjects. Process of delinking Intermediate teaching is under consideration at the State Govt. level. The College also provides quality teaching in vocational and professional courses of MBA, MCA, BBM, BCA, Bio-Tech, Bio-Chem and Information Technology. Infrastructure, library and labs are excellent to the modern standard. The College was accredited by NAAC with grade A (CGPA score - 3.08) in February, 2008.
