Dr. Amit Kumar Agarwal is presently working as full term consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals Delhi. He had received various medals and distinctions during his career as a medical student. He has done his postgraduate training in orthopaedics from postgraduate institute of medical education and research (PGIMER), Chandigarh and done his senior residency from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

Sharma nursing home was started, and managed by the eminent surgeon, Dr. P. Sharma himself in 1969.
