Asante Africa Foundation is a social impact organization educating children and transforming worlds in east Africa. We provide academic support, life skills training, livelihood skill development, and opportunity creation. Co-founder and CEO Erna Grasz met Emily Moshi from Tanzania and Hellen Nkuraiya from Kenya on a visit to Africa in 2005. Inspired by their shared passion and vision of enhancing education in rural East Africa, they founded Asante Africa Foundation in 2007. With a business and corporate world background, Erna leveraged her skills to be the CEO of the nonprofit.
