April 7, 1931 is a red letter day in the history of Cambridge School. It was on this day that the first Cambridge School was established on a humble note in a two room flat in Qutab Road by its founder Late Sh. Aloke Chandra Deb. With his foresight and dedication and his vision of an educated India in pre-independence times he laid the foundation of this glorious institution. The school had made tremendous progress under his dynamic leadership and after his demise, under his wife Smt. Roma Deb. The management of the school rested on the shoulders of their daughter Dr. Kalyani Roy who took over as Secretary, Society for Advancement of Education. Under her able guidance and direction the Cambridge family tree has spread its branches. Today there are eight Cambridge Schools in and around Delhi.
