historical fiction

We serve readers of historical fiction who like their history carefully researched but never dry, including book clubs, history enthusiasts, and anyone curious about the quieter side of the Civil War. What makes us different is the story and the person behind it. Memphis Moon is built on the real but thinly documented lives of sisters Virginia and Lottie Moon, and the author spent six years in the U.S. Navy and thirty years as an executive in the global plastics industry before retiring to write. As a mechanical engineer by training, he pays close attention to how things really worked in the 1860s South, from mills to machinery to travel. His journey was featured in USA Today.
