Plus Max Duty Free

Plus Max Owner promises a “world-class duty free experience” Plus Max Duty free has been awarded the duty free retail concession for the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal at Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. The company plans to open three stores (one in departures and two in arrivals) on the Hong Kong side of the terminal by early November. The offer will complement Plus Max Duty Free’s duty free operations in Malaysia and India. Plus Max Owner Prakadeesh Kumar pledged to offer Macau-bound passengers a wide range of liquor, confectionery, beauty items and cigarettes, promising a “world-class duty free experience”.

Plus Max Malaysia has been in the business of operating Duty-Free outlets since 1989. It is under the helm of our parent company Agate Duty Free and we pioneered the concept of “Duty-Free Plaza” in Subang International Airport, Malaysia (as it was known then) in 1989. It was a novel idea, approved by YAB Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammed who was then the fourth Prime Minister of Malaysia.
